Dusal is a family-owned manufacturer of hand made bedding products based in Glenrothes, Fife. 

We are always looking for enthusiastic and positive individuals to join our dusal team as Operations Assistants. The job is physically demanding and involves working across the operations function in our pack, filling and closing areas.  

Duties include:   

·       Order assembly and packing to the required quality standards ensuring timely processing of orders to meet delivery deadlines 

·       Filling duvets, pillows and toppers 

·       Ensuring correct fillings and weights are used at all times for all products 

·       Closing and labelling of products 

·       Operating sewing equipment in a safe manner 

·       Identifying and reporting quality related issues to ensure immediate corrective actions are taken 

·       Following all production plan priorities, quality checks and instructions 

·       Cleaning, trimming and folding of product 

·       Housekeeping and waste material disposal in line with business standards 

·       Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times 

·       Supporting warehouse and stock control activities when required

·       Possess basic literacy and numeracy skills 

·       Have a professional approach to work with the ability to receive, accept, understand and carry out instructions 

·       Are able to work under pressure to meet deadlines without losing focus on quality or accuracy 

·       Are able to participate and engage positively with colleagues and customers 

·       Have a flexible approach with the ability to work across multiple areas of the factory as required
