A completely natural ingredient, the 100% pure white duck down filling boasts a lovely high loft that gives these duvets a wonderfully warm snuggly effect.
Noticeably lighter than a feather and down duvet, the fluffy white high loft duck down delivers a supremely comfortable sleep, all year round.
For these duvets we use either a 233 or 460 thread-count pure cotton Cambric with a piped and double-stitched edge, with the calendared finish of the fabric minimising the risk of the natural down filling percolating through the fabric. We can also offer a 300 thread count case with a sateen weave.
The baffle box-wall design eliminates any unwanted ‘cold spots’ by evenly spreading the filling throughout the duvet.
All dùsal natural down and feather filled products are NOMITE® and Downafresh® certified, making them a safe choice for allergy sufferers. The NOMITE® the certification confirms the fabric used is impermeable to house dust mites whilst the the fillings are also hypoallergenic, due to the high turbidity levels when cleaning the feather and down.
Products marked with Downafresh® document that the feathers and down used as filling material comply with EN 12935 which regulates the requirements for hygiene. dùsal observe the strict requirements for feathers and down used as filling material, applying both to the sourcing and the processing of the product.
The NOMITE mark indicates that a product is suitable for house dust mite allergy sufferers. The tight weave of the fabric acts as a barrier preventing the mites from passing through, so that those who suffer from house dust allergies or asthma can enjoy the comfort afforded by natural down and feather filled bedding.
